Westermo is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer
Westermo Research & Development is responsible for development of new products and platforms as well as maintenance and improvement on released products. You will be part of a team of experienced and dedicated electronic engineers.
You will mainly work in different new development projects and be part of electronic development from requirement specification to serial deliveries from our production.
You will be a key player in the projects and deliver robust hardware as well as cooperate closely with other parts of the company as production, productiontest and typetest
Qualifications
Key factors to succeed in this role
• +10 years experience of digital design
• M.Sc degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Used to work from requirement specification to production introduction
• Experience of electronic design for harsh environments related to EMC, vibration and similar
• Experience of design for test and manufacturing
• Experience from analogue and power design
Meritorious factors
• Experience from Mentor design and simulation tools
• Experience of CPLD/FPGA and VHDL design
• Experience from reliability calculations and FMEA
As a person you are structured and organized. You have experience from work within projects and are used to handle priorities and deadlines. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
