In this role you will be a Group Legal Counsel within the Commercial Legal Affairs team, partnering closely with various stakeholders globally within Ericsson, with emphasis on stakeholders within the product owning organizations, as well as high level executives across the Ericsson Group, including Group Function Legal Affairs ("GFLA"). This includes ensuring that risks of the business are identified and handled responsibly, including risks associated with sales, procurement and other business-related agreements, governance, sanctions and export controls, competition and data privacy laws and regulations, in collaboration with experts from other units in GFLA. The scope of the work also covers contractual and negotiation support with suppliers, partners and customers, worldwide, but also business structuring and business model support.

What you will do
Draft, review and negotiate various kinds of legal documents and business agreements, including driving strong contract terms in partnership with relevant stakeholders;
Provide strategic and technical legal and risk advice in execution of the Ericsson business objectives;
Discuss risk assessments and mitigation with internal stakeholders, GFLA experts and your manager;
Provide business structuring and model support;
Facilitate the relevant commercial operations of and assist the clients with appropriate risk analysis;
Be a contact person for one or more identified clients and as such manage and coordinate legal support vis-à-vis such clients;
Provide legal training as well as legal advice to employees at all levels, including high level executives;
Develop internal group policies, strategies and work tools;
Manage and control external legal resources;
You will bring
Master of Law degree (or law qualification of equivalent standing, e.g. LLB, JD).
At least five (5) years working experience as a commercial, technology and/or corporate lawyer, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
Experience of practicing qualified IT related commercial law and preferably international experience.
High level of integrity and independence.
Good knowledge and skills within the relevant legal areas, with confirmed ability to understand and support business and ability to find, lead and motivate changes.
Ability to handle negotiations, and to support and work with high- and top-level managers.
Interest in and understanding of business strategies and goals along with shown financial understanding and awareness.
Good networking ability and great interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and handle internal stakeholders, external counsel and counterparties.
Driven team player who initiates and drives positive change.
Proven ability not only to analyze and understand details in specific matters and transactions, but also to apply legal, business and financial aspects from a Group perspective.
• Ability to develop and drive new working methods and tools and having an interest in providing legal training.
High proficiency in English
