We now have a need for a contractor and for this position you need to be comfortable with below and enjoy working with the tasks stated.
We want to stress that this role is hands-on one but for the right consultant it could with time grow into more responsibilities. We expect to find a senior specialist that come in running and could support the team in foremost group accounting/consolidation related tasks
Senior group financial controller
Experience:
Minimum 7 years of experience from consolidation and group accounting
Preferably worked with IFRS standards
Can consolidate and eliminate independently
Preferably experience from working at a bank/financial institution
Must have taken ownership of and had responsibility for the consolidation
Must have experience in how to book minority interests
Have strong communications skills and be able to communicate in both English and Swedish
Work independently with monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting
Strong system knowledge e.g. SAP FC, IBM Cognos Controller or similar
Tasks:
Can consolidate and eliminate independently, will contribute by ensuring we close the books with high quality by reviewing and supporting in the closing process together with other team members
Pro-actively support the organisation in consolidating and group reporting related questions, both reporting entities as well as HQ
Continuously work on improving processes to enhance the quality of Klarna's financial reporting and support in updating instructions to the group
Support the subsidiaries in questions concerning consolidation system, reporting and accounting
Review reporting from the subsidiaries
Work with annual and interim reports
Detail-oriented but also see the bigger picture
Support in the test and implementation phase of the new consolidation system
Start Date: February 26
End Date: 3-6 months
