About the Assignment
This role is part of a Group Accounting team in an international organization with complex reporting needs. You will help ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting and support external reporting, including SEC-related filings for a U.S.-listed company. The assignment offers broad collaboration across finance functions and global subsidiaries, with opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems, and accounting policies.
Job DescriptionSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual group closing processes.
Prepare, validate, and follow up on consolidation entries.
Collaborate with subsidiaries and internal stakeholders to secure timely and accurate financial submissions.
Perform financial analysis and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external reporting.
Assist in the preparation of external IFRS financial reports, including notes and disclosures.
Maintain data in the consolidation system and help ensure consistency across group entities.
Contribute to group accounting policies, process documentation, and reporting improvements.
Coordinate with auditors and provide audit support, evidence, and explanations.
RequirementsUniversity degree in Business Administration with a major in finance or accounting, or equivalent.
5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within a global corporate accounting function or from an audit firm.
Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards and familiarity with group consolidation principles.
Experience in preparing financial reports and working with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.
Fluency in English for both written and spoken communication.
Nice to haveExperience working with consolidation systems.
Experience with AARO.
Exposure to SOX compliance and reporting requirements for U.S.-listed companies.
