IP Protection Program
EA Security's IP Protection Program partners with EA game teams to help them protect their work and EA's Intellectual Property. As an IP Protection Program Manager, you will report to the Director, Security GRC within the EA Security team and generate positive value to partner game teams by effectively helping them to protect the sensitive assets and information they work with, reducing the number of leaks they experience and thus demonstrate the utility of the IP Protection program.
As a leader within the IP Protection Team, you will:
Define strategy to develop and implement IP Protection mechanisms to help teams protect their most sensitive assets.
Drive IP leak prevention discussions with key stakeholders within studios and other central teams to understand the specific IP Protection needs and help them develop their Content Handling & IP Protection Plans.
Lead the Content Handling & IP Protection Program by coordinating the access management, data protection, training, and compliance planning of EA game studio teams.
Support Incident Response and Insider Threat teams on IP leak investigations when needed.
Manage remediation efforts of identified risks by guiding partner activities, tracking progress, and reporting status to security and studio leadership.
Create and track program metrics to demonstrate impact of IP Protection controls, and define communication strategies through our internal websites and other communication channels
Develop compelling data protection related training content and courses for delivery in synchronous and asynchronous settings on a variety of platforms.
Who you are:
You have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or another technical major.
You have 5 or more years of experience in Data Protection or Governance, Risk and Compliance programs.
You are an excellent communicator and can work with partners from a diverse set of backgrounds and at different organizational levels.
You are familiar with security and IP Protection controls including access controls, data classification, data protection, vulnerability management, and network security.
You are familiar with IP Protection tools such as DLP, RMS, data classification/tagging, dynamic watermarking or similar.
You can create high-quality presentations and reports for different audiences.
You may have the CISA, CISSP or other information security certifications.
Experience or familiarity with video game development, production or marketing is a big plus!
