hela Sverige We are searching for a Senior Global Product Manager to join the BioProcess Downstream Systems team to drive our continuous chromatography portfolio in to the future and setting the strategic direction across the downstream business area for the same.
Essential Responsibilities:
The role involves both strategic and tactical direction for the product range globally in a manner that maximizes revenue for the company.
Work across all segments within the downstream area to further develop GE?s strategy in the continuous chromatography space including our customized hardware team
Develop business case for the portfolio and continuously drive strategy
Manage commercial and customer aspects in requests around continuous chromatography
Ensure strategic alignment in our offering and product readiness for commercialization incl. after sales support together with service
Provide sales and profitability forecasts. Support the marketing and sales organization with appropriate actions to ensure maximum return
Collaborate with GE?s Upstream business area.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong business sense and an interest in the commercial aspects of a company are essential components to be successful in this role
University degree in Science or equivalent
Several years' experience in product marketing, product development, or a related field with customer facing activities, preferably within the Life Sciences field
Knowledge in large scale chromatography
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and process skills and influencing skills ? ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
Previous experience of developing and executing on a business strategy
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment; team oriented ? ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
Some traveling will be required
EU work permit

The position requires an ability to absorb and handle complex information in a very structured way and to communicate this information in a clear way across all levels of the company. The applicant should be able to handle many tasks at the same time and have an ability work under pressure. Team working ability is obviously central to success.
