Binary Motion is looking for experienced C++ Game Programmers to join our team in Sundsvall, Sweden. We are looking for someone with demonstrable professional experience in the game development industry.
At Binary Motion you will be working in a small team, collaborating with other teams worldwide in porting and co-developing AAA games. It is a job with high exposure to game technology and the latest gaming platforms that requires good programming and debugging skills and good understanding of software and hardware architectures.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience
5 years of C/C++ programming experience in the games industry
Fundamental math skills (matrices, vectors, algebra, etc.).
Strong C++ programming skills.
Experience with 3D graphics APIs (Direct3D, OpenGL, Vulcan, ...)
Strong team player.
Strong debugging skills.
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Knowledge of commercial or In-house game engines.
Computer Science (or similar) Graduate
Knowledge of GPU programming (Shaders, HSLS, ...)
Experience with console development.
Ability to analyze and optimize game performance.
Experience porting games.
