This is where the Cybersecurity and Functional Safety Group comes into the picture not only to strengthen prevailing safety expertise and culture but also to address contemporary security and safety risks of electrical and/or electronic systems of vehicles and transport solutions.About the positionWe are aiming for strengthening our functional safety team with your personal touch in defining our future direction. This position relies on your potential and passion for safety and functional safety to be able to support us in realizing "Zero Accident Vision" and "Vision Zero". You will be part of a dedicated team in the area of functional safety. You have opportunities not only to apply your current skills but also to acquire new skills to ensure that our products meet functional safety requirements and comply with the requirements of the ISO 26262 standard. You participate in activities such as specifying and reviewing hazard analysis, functional safety concept and technical safety concept. Our functional safety specialists and experts will guide you in understanding and performing the relevant activities. You are expected to become proficient at functional safety and ISO 26262 standard to be able to support Volvo Group in developing quality-assured products for our customers.This position offers numerous possibilities of interacting with people, experts and engineers across different organizations within Volvo Group and external entities. This position thus welcomes you with challenges and opportunities of continuously growing your professional and technical skills to realize your full potential.Who are we?Cybersecurity and Functional Safety Group is Center of Excellence and Expertise in Product Cybersecurity and Functional Safety within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. The group currently consists of twelve technical specialists, experts and rookies in cybersecurity and functional safety.We make up a solid foundation of competence in functional safety and cybersecurity within Volvo Group. Our work spans the entire lifecycle of vehicles - from concept phase to operational vehicles on road. We provide functional safety and cybersecurity frameworks to enable developing quality-assured products.
