Our mission is to help our customers succeed by providing an intuitive and thoughtfully designed experience for handling all of their logistics needs.
In this role, you'll work with a new area of the product. This means taking the businesses perspective, having empathy for the customers, having respect for the design process, and being driven to find clarity amongst the fog.
About the job
We need a talented senior frontend engineer to help us develop a new feature area for our users. This means that you'll work closely with product, design, and engineering colleagues. You'll also be exposed directly to customers we're helping, and the operations and sales teams we have internally within Sendify to support your work.
Your technical expertise will assist the design team with front-end decisions, and by selecting the best tools for the job, you will bring these designs to life.
During a normal week, you will:
• Produce tested, simple, and thoughtful code for Sendify's platform.
• Take an active part in our team culture. Be open and supportive, be curious and bring new ideas, learn and build a great product together.
• Provide feedback and guidance on new solutions or changes.
• Help informally mentor and coach other engineers.
• Perform code reviews.
• Help maintain a tidy system, architecture, create tooling. Raise your voice for areas that need refactoring or work.
• Participate in technical strategy discussions.
While this description is for a senior engineer in a new product area, we do not expect anyone to come in and have all the answers on day 1. We do however need someone who has built up a strong intuition for great design, architecture, for what a great team feels like, and is able to ask great questions.

Sendify aims to use best-in-class technology. We experiment a lot at the edges, but the core of our system remains clean and stable. Our stack is built up around TypeScript, React, Netlify, Go, K8S, AWS, MySQL, Gitlab CI/CD, Pulumi.

What we're looking for
In order to succeed, we believe you:
• Have 5+ years professional experience.
• Have worked extensively with JavaScript and one or more modern JS UI framework.
• Have proven track record shipping tested, well-architected, and simple code.
• Are fluent in English.
It's a bonus if you:
• Have started or been employed in a product startup.
• Worked in modern React / TypeScript.
• Worked full-stack (Go), with SQL, or AWS.
• Have experience designing, instrumenting, and maintaining A/B tests.
• Have worked closely with a design team and are comfortable with Figma.
• Have helped maintain a design system.
• Speak Swedish and/or German.
