hela Sverige Do you want to help shape modern frontend development in a team on a transformation journey? If so, then this can be something for you! We are now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join the Web Platforms team within the Information Systems (IT) organization in Lund.
Who is your future team?
You will be part of the team responsible for developing and maintaining the new partner web at Axis Communications. The team consists of a mix of competencies in web development and work closely with UX designers and QA engineers.
What you'll do here as Senior Frontend Developer?
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who wants to play an important role in developing our digital platforms on the external web in Axis Communications. You will work hands-on with frontend development while also helping guide technical direction, best practices, and ways of working within the team.
We currently work with Drupal, and experience with Drupal is considered a strong advantage, but not a requirement. What matters most is your frontend expertise, collaborative mindset, and ability to support the team as we continue to evolve our platform and working methods.
In this role, you will:
• Contribute to the technical direction of our frontend development.
• Develop and evolve our frontend architecture, tooling, and best practices.
• Help build and maintain component libraries and design systems.
• Ensure our solutions are fast, accessible, modern, and secure.
• Collaborate closely with UX, design, product owners, and backend teams.
• Support and mentor other developers in a pedagogical and approachable way.
• Be an active part of our ongoing transformation and modernization journey.
• Explore how AI and automation can support development and quality.
• Contribute to frontend security across interfaces, flows, and implementations.
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
You are an experienced frontend developer who enjoys both building solutions and helping others grow.
You are:
• Pedagogical and supportive, comfortable explaining concepts and helping teammates develop.
• Humble and prestige-less, focused on collaboration and team success.
• Curious and eager to learn, especially in a fast-changing frontend landscape.
• Communicative, able to explain technical choices clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Structured and adaptable, comfortable creating clarity during periods of change.
• Security-aware, understanding how frontend decisions can affect overall security.
• Technically grounded, comfortable writing and reasoning about code yourself, and seeing AI as a powerful tool to enhance productivity, learning, and quality - not as a shortcut or substitute for understanding the underlying technology.
We'd love to hear that you have
We are looking for someone with solid experience in frontend development and modern tooling, such as:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• React, Next.js
• Vite, Webpack
• Drupal, Twig (experience is meritorious, not required)
• Headless architectures
• Git
You don't need experience in everything, but you should feel comfortable working in - and helping evolve - a modern frontend ecosystem.
