Vattenfall IT is looking to add a new and experienced Front-End Developer to our team in Stockholm, Sweden.
Your responsibilities as Senior Front-End Developer:
• Build, improve and extend our Front End layer of corporate web applications
• Build, improve and extend our AngularJS-based and Bootstrap-based web frontends as well as the node.js-based APIs.
• Interact with our Designers Team and Customers mainly located in Sweden but also in Germany and the Netherland
• Cooperate with backend developers (.NET/EPiSERVER as well as Java/RedDot)
• Work according to SCRUM principles
• Be obligated to document your work according to the standards given
Who are we looking for:

We believe, that only with these communication skills, IT can act as the trusted partner towards our business.
• Fluent Swedish and English language skills (must-have)
• Very good experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (i.e. Bootstrap, jQuery, Media Queries, Apache Ant, Node.js)
• Experience with AngularJS (2 years+) and the surrounding toolchain (Yeoman, Grunt, GitHub, etc.) is required
• Experience in working with MS Azure
• Skills to process PSDs and turn them into interactive websites
• Experience in working with LESS or SASS
• Experience in automatic build process (i.e. Apache Ant, Node.js)
• Knowledge about tools supporting continuous integration (i.e. Bamboo)
• Experience with responsive web design
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility standards
• A focus on simplicity and great UX
• High interest in data visualization
• Desire to quickly learn and adapt
• No fear to work with Business representatives on a daily basis
About this team:
Web Competence Center is part of Vattenfall IT organization. Group of 100 developers based in Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Gliwice and Katowice is responsible for delivery of web solutions and services to all Vattenfall Business Units and locations. Responsibility within the team is for full web stack development, starting from Front End layer, going through Web Content Management System and ending up on specific Back End applications based on both Java and .NET technologies.
