Our Exciting Opportunity
Do you love working with front end development & User Interface (UI) Design, and want to be part of shaping Industry 4.0?
Then you should join our Dedicated Networks team in Gothenburg!
We are now looking for an experienced, design oriented & creative Front-end developer who will join our existing User Experience (UX) team and contribute with UI design work.
Dedicated Network is part of Business Area Technologies and New Businesses which ventures well beyond the traditional boundaries of Ericsson's core business. Leveraging growth within global connectivity management, connected vehicles, industrial site connectivity, data, and network insights and security automation, we build customer and enterprise value. We are bold, making calculated bets on the future and being part of us means you will be a pioneer - shaping the future for us, and Ericsson.
Our team has a key role in putting connectivity in a box, creating dedicated networks for our customers, enabling connectivity in mines, airports, ports and more. We have a huge focus on UX, putting that on the fore front of everything that we do and as our new front-end developer you would be key in making it happen.
Being part of us means you'll get the adventure of being an intrapreneur within the wrapping of an almost 150-year-old, global company that holds innovation at its core, as we work like a start up.
You will
Initially work with the UX & FE team and improve existing parts of our application from a UI design perspective.
Work also on the existing code base solving bugs, adding new features and improving existing components.
Learn how our code structure and API works and how to add to it and, as time passes and you become more comfortable in the code base, you'll be expected to take more part in the overall infrastructure.

To be successful in the role you must have
Problem solving qualities and a natural interest in learning new things
Proven experience working as a Web developer -you've shipped many projects and made enough mistakes to consider yourself experienced!
Good design skills and experience working with UI design.
Work experience using tools like Sketch, Figma or Photoshop and experience building customer facing React applications.
Familiarity with other Javascript frameworks/libraries/tools in the js environment.
Experience with testing practices.
Experience with Typescript.
