As senior foresight manager you will identify key trends and actors that can enable the future connected solutions and services for Volvo Group. Your main responsibility is to identify key trends and technologies and merge them with insights from our customer and data analytics concepts to create an overall picture of the future opportunities. You will also contribute to setting the focus areas for innovation activities within the connected solutions domain. The result of your work will be used to set the direction and focus for innovation activities and be used to inspire new ideas and concepts for future connected transport solutions. You will also contribute to the Volvo Group technology plan, responsible to consolidate and develop the digitalization and connected solutions part.
The position reports to the Director Business Innovation & foresight and are part to the Volvo Group Connected Solutions Innovation Lab.
Key Responsibilities
As Senior foresight manager, your key responsibilities are:*Scout, analyze, consolidate and communicate key trends and actors within the digital and connected domain across sectors relevant for Volvo Group's future connected transport solutions
• Work in close collaboration with stakeholders within the Volvo Group
• Build and maintain internal and external information networks
• Support the Innovation managers with inspirational and data driven insights to be used for ideation activities and/or in new innovation concepts
• Serve receivers both on a regular basis in certain fields, and on-demand assignments for specific project
• Design and build the toolbox, platform and playbook enabling information about future technologies and business models to be created and shared across the teams and units
• Drive and coordinate the digital and connected solutions part of the Group Technology Plan in close collaboration with stakeholders from Connected Solutions, commercial entities and CTO office
Location & Timeline
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Frequent travel is expected.

Competence Profile & Qualifications
• Ability to analyze information from reports and articles and transform into inspirational and actionable insights
• Passionate and curious about the opportunities to create real value for Volvo Group and its customers by smart utilization of digital technologies and connectivity
• Knowledgeable about digital technologies as well as a clear focus on the business value it can create
• Ability to connect the dots across sectors and identify key digital trends, potential partners and technologies that enables Volvo Group to deliver successful transport solutions of the future
• Experience from scenario planning, early warnings or other methods that creates clarity, structure and direction from vast amount of data
• Experience from market research, competitive intelligence, or forecasting
• Ability to inspire through excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
• Successful in building and maintaining excellent working relationships
• Excellent professional skills and ability to work in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse environment
• We expected a minimum of 7 years' experience in similar roles
• Humor; because, in the end, working here should be fun

You have a Master's degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English. International business experience is a merit.
