We are now looking for an experienced Food Safety engineer who can take the role as Food Safety Specialist in our Food & Equipment Safety organization within Tetra Pak Processing. You will have a central role working with our global capability, Customer and internal support, Technical Corporate standards, methods, and tools for Food Safety.
The position is permanent and you will be based in Lund, Sweden. Travel will be required up to 10-20% of your time.
What you will do
As a Senior Food Safety Specialist, you will:
Provide competent advice, technical support, and training to Tetra Pak and our customers
Represent Tetra Pak in external organizations working with hygienic design and Food Safety
Ensure Food Safety process is rolled out & followed in the Project and Product organizations
Monitor regulatory and standard requirements and participate in global Food Safety regulatory monitoring network
Drive Food Safety capability assessment, identify improvement areas and drive actions
Drive and write Tetra Pak Technical Corporate Standards and guidelines for Food Safety capability area
Lead Food Safety functional competence networks
Lead and participate in Food Safety activities throughout the Tetra Pak organization
We believe you have
You have a Master's degree within Engineering, preferably within Food Science & Technology, microbiology, chemical or similar
Minimum 10 years of design experience in Food processing equipment or equivalent experience
Good understanding of operations at Food producer site with knowledge in equipment and line functionality
Deep knowledge in Food Safety and Hygienic Design for food processing machinery and Food Safety requirements
Good knowledge of Food legislations and standards in general
Good leadership and communication skills with high informal authority
Communication skills in English, both written and spoken on an excellent level
