www.shifo.org We are current looking for a Senior Financial Officer who would like to join the team and help Shifo to get closer to its vision.
Shifo Team are quite an international bunch of people and we decided to dedicate ourselves to Shifo's Vision. And we are based in Stockholm, Sweden.
We hire for attitide, so the expectations below are only a desired checklist:
Professional Qualification (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA Fully qualified)
At least 8 years of experience in Finance and Audit
Experience with Risk Management, Internal Control Assessment, Account Reviews, Data Analysis, Financial Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting, statutory reporting and compliance, treasury.
Experience with establishing and maintaining control systems to manage cash.
Experience with complete oversight on day to day running of financial activities.
Detailed oriented, analytical and quantitative thinker, strategic mindset, quick learner, can work at high level pressure with accuracy and meet deadlines
Positive personality and strong influencer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical proficiency in various ERP Systems
Experience of working within software development organisations, and preferably having programming knowledge.
Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel) Skills
Have experience from African continent, and preferably within African Financial environment and familiarity with the African Tax environment
Experience from working in a startup environment, especially should have entrepreneurial qualities.
Willing to relocate to Stockholm, Sweden

Responsibility
Would be required: to oversee the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting process, to offer key strategic advice and analysis in relation to international expansion and effective financial growth strategy, to have oversight over the day- to- day running of financial activities and provide analysis across the finance functions, to help any other member of the finance team to develop and progress in their careers and to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory bodies.
