We are looking for a Financial Controller with a strong commercial mindset and system interest to join our Group Financial control team. The role will be a key player in consolidation and reporting, maintaining finance systems as well as having a central role in the development of the Groups financial processes.

The role
The role will be based in either Uppsala or Stockholm (commuting to Uppsala on a regular basis will be needed), but stakeholders can be in either of our locations and will also involve external contacts.
The Financial Controller will report to the Group Financial controller based in Uppsala, Sweden, and be part of a team with 6 colleagues.
You will primarily be responsible for the following areas:
Monthly Group consolidation and financial reporting.
Administrate and develop Group financial reporting system, Cognos, including End user training.
Ensure that the accounting flows are correctly handled within the relevant systems.
Development of routines, internal control, processes and systems.
Supporting the local finance teams in Group reporting and accounting matters.
Participating in coordination of external audit.
Other financial controlling tasks that might be relevant given your background and expertise.
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, with focus in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 8-10 years relevant work experience within Group Accounting, including experience from consolidation of a multinational company, or a number of years as an auditor.
Solid analytical skills and experience in analyzing and managing large amounts of data.
Strong communication skills in order to quickly establish key relationships within the Group and externally.
Solid knowledge in international accounting standards and regulations, where US GAAP
experience is considered as a merit.
Excellent skills in MS Office package (mainly Excel).
Very good command of the English language.
