hela Sverige Our client is a central unit within a major corporation with offices worldwide. The unit provides support to the corporation in the human resources and financial administration areas. One of the departments is working within Group Accounting and Internal Control that contributes to develop the Financial Reporting process within the corporation. The department holds the responsibility of securing the accuracy and completeness of the business area's management report and sign off the financial reporting.
Our client is now expanding this department due to changes within the corporation. Therefore Adecco Automotive is now looking for 2 financial controllers who wants to take on an exciting new challenge; to deliver quality and efficiency in controlling and accounting in a large international corporation.
What's included in your ordinary workday?
As Financial Controller you will provide information, comments and response to questions coming from Chief Controllers and make sure there is a good dialogue with the management and controllers. This includes:
• Run the consolidation, plan and execute eliminations, group adjustments and corrections
• Quality assure and post consolidation entries during closings
• Provide closing analyses and quality controls
• Prepare and produce Management reports, including comments to the financial statements and KPI's
• Support Legal units in the reporting with technical and accounting competence
• Actively participate and drive improvement efforts within the reporting process and BCS
• Run and/or participate in different area networks
• Support the group company's reporting and quality control the accounting content
• Closing comments on specific topics related to the area
• Execute and complete financial control activities in a timely manner
• Assure that guidelines and policies are followed and implemented where required
• Ensure high quality in financial control and drive continues improvements, standardization and harmonization to enable an efficient process and organization
Your profile
In order to quickly understand the role, we believe that you have a several years experience in financial reporting and accounting. You also have a university degree within Business Administration with experience in coordinating and finalizing group or sub-group consolidations. With experience working with MS Office applications, SAP and BCS this will be an exiting new challenge for you.
If you have strong interpersonal skills/abilities with a high degree of 'flexibility', including an ability to network effectively across a diverse organization you will fit right in on this department. You are able to handle tight dead-lines in the closing processes and is use to work both independently as well as in global teams. Your costumer and business focus is vital. Proficiency in the English language is required, if you also know Swedish fluently you have a great advantage compared to other applicants.
