SKF Finance Sweden includes Controlling Centre, Accounting Centre, Internal Control and Finance Processes departments. Senior Financial Accountant
As a senior financial accountant at SKF Sweden Accounting Centre you will be working in a group of 5-6 people and take full responsibility for the accounting and reporting of SKF Sweden AB, AB SKF and SKF Eurotrade AB.
The role holder will act as a liaison between business operations and the finance department, and also develop and maintain strong relationships with foreign-based Financial Shared Service Centers to ensure alignment with financial targets as well as best practice sharing.
Key responsibilities
• Responsible for the reporting and accounting for multiple companies. In addition to that you will be responsible for specific work areas:
Prepare and review journal entries and develop supporting documentation
Monitor and conduct general ledger account reconciliations
Delivery of monthly and yearly period end closing and income tax return
Assist in both internal and external audit procedures
• Ensure compliance of the accounting and reporting policies in the full value chain
• Process development and standardization within accounting and finance procedures
• Independently drive projects initiated either by yourself or by your manager
Position requirements
• University degree in finance and business administration or equivalent work experience as a financial accountant
• Advanced skills in SAP
• Fluent in oral and written Swedish and English
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint applications and strong computer knowledge within a multi-system environment
• Experience from working in a global organization
• Skills within the IFRS, Swedish GAAP and K3 framework is meritorious

The position holder will report to the General Ledger and Reporting Manager and should be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
