hela Sverige Within the Swedish Common Shared Service Finance, Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is looking for two Senior Finance Specialists to join the General Accounting team in Västerås. The team handles for example fixed assets, leasing, closing and reporting tasks, IFRS and statutory reporting, audits and taxes, both for Sweden and Denmark. With our combined experience and expertise, we strive for a spirit of collaboration and trust with other functions and the local business units, who we support and guide in Finance related topics.
As part of our growth strategy, Hitachi Energy is currently engaged in a multi-year project to upgrade the core ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA, standardize the IT application landscape and digitize the business processes to meet the needs of the expanding business. We are looking for you who have a big interest in contributing to this changing environment.
As a Senior Finance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving and aligning financial strategies with our business partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting of accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports. We are looking for a variety of people to join the organization, therefore we are flexible and open to shaping your responsibilities according to your interests, while following the global rules and regulations.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide both general and complex accounting services to the business.
Partner and communicate with your internal and external stakeholders and support them in financial activities such as cost accounting, journal entries preparation, cash flow, general ledger processing, reconciliations, reporting, and tax support.
Engage in and drive the development and improvement of financial processes and routines.
Generate financial statements and reports for internal and/or external use.
Control/reconciliation of accounts and records (balance sheet, P&L, bank accounts, etc.)
Accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and/or for external audiences (compliance reporting) including consolidation of financial statements, cash flow reporting, budget reporting, etc.
Analyze and understand project settlements.
Your Background:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area.
Previous experience working with accounting, business/project controlling, financial analysis, or other tasks similar to the description above, ideally experience of working in a multinational environment with different interfaces.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (SAP and MS Excel/Office).
In-depth knowledge of accounting rules, IFRS and legal requirements.
Excellent analytical skills.
Balance of hands on capabilities as well as good perspective of full picture.
Swedish is considered an advantage, however, fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
