We are currently looking for Senior Finance/Commercial Manager for our Swedish subsidiary which is located in Uppsala, Sweden. The role will require occasional travel to the Headquarter in Germany and various Nordex sites around Sweden.

The Finance & Accounting Department is responsible for the bookkeeping and accounting activities including the preparation of the statutory accounts for Sweden, according to Swedish GAAP and submission of the group financial statements according to IFRS for the Nordex Group. In addition it will oversee and prepare the following:

• Provide the commercial support to the country manager and the other departmental heads.
• Monthly management accounts preparation and financial reporting (IFRS) and business forecasts.
• Review the profit and loss account regularly to ensure revenue and costs are correctly coded and reported.
• Issue each month the departmental cost centre reports to the departmental heads - review as necessary the major cost variances both favourable and adverse.
• Support the Area Service Manager for Sweden, the Regional Service Manager and the Regional Finance/Commercial Director on all finance matters, specifically this will include regular updates for financial forecasts and annual budget process.
• Ensure the Service Operations sales invoices are being produced timely in line with the MSA contracts.
• Police and follow-up revenue sharing agreements, early completion benefits and availability incentives under TSA and MSA contracts (the latter together with Service Account Managers).
• Service debtors review and chase the overdue amounts.
• Support the Head of Project Management on all finance and accounting matters, specifically this will include support on ongoing projects.
• Debtors reporting and aged debt profiling each month.
• Local Purchase Ledger support (including payments) and vendor management as required.
• Processing of incoming and outgoing invoices (including invoices relating to local SPV's for Nordex owned developed wind farms).
• Lead discussions with local vendors on payment terms as needed by NX and other contractual terms.
• Provide guidance and support to the operations staff relevant to the finance accounting processes and procedures.
• nterface with external professional advisors as required, to include external audit, and local compliance requirements.
• Prepare the annual tax return and monthly VAT reports.
• Ensure correct tax and customs reporting to Swedish governmental authorities.
• Prepare the company's statutory Report and Accounts on behalf of the company directors.
• Liaise with corporate accounting and regional management team (based in Hamburg).

In this role the post holder will be in charge of the regular reporting during the budget process, forecasts and cash flow planning.

The role will report to the Country Manager, Sweden and functionally to the Head of Finance Europe North.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

The job position requires a qualified accountant with at least three years of practice in an international firm of chartered accountants or auditors dealing with foreign companies or five years experience of accounting in an international company located in Sweden.

• Experience of financial control of multi-million Euro projects is essential, as is a working knowledge of the construction industry and accounting for WIP on long term projects.
• Excellent academic ability as well as strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
• Being prepared to undertake routine tasks as well as manage others (due to the fact that the office is relatively small).
• Ability to operate, influence and counsel at the most senior level within your function and to business clients.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; being highly motivated and business oriented.
• Being used to work independently within a matrix based organisation - direction will come from both the local managers and the finance and accounting departments in Germany.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
