About the Assignment
We are looking for a highly driven Finance Business Partner to support an Architecture Technology Center within a product development context. You will take ownership across both operational controlling and program controlling, working closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights, strengthen governance, and support sound decision-making.
The assignment includes an active role in planning and forecasting, proactive analysis, and ensuring that purchase requests and supplier invoices follow internal guidelines and approved budgets.
Job DescriptionAct as the primary financial partner to the senior leader of the Architecture Technology Center and the leadership team.
Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive financial performance improvements.
Lead the monthly closing process, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
Track OPEX and follow up operational KPIs to support target fulfillment.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for architecture-related initiatives.
Monitor project spend, burn rate, and forecast accuracy, and drive corrective actions when deviations occur.
Secure financial alignment between engineering functions, procurement, and program management.
Review and approve purchase requests and invoices in line with budgets, contracts, and internal guidelines.
Lead annual budgeting and recurring forecast cycles; consolidate plans and prepare decision material for senior management.
RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 5 years of relevant finance experience
Experience in operational controlling and program controlling
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working with Power BI
Nice to haveExperience working close to product development and cross-functional leadership teams
