The support will be undertaken for a range of key customers such as leading vendors of cellular infrastructure and leading telecom network operators. Supporting the VIAVI wireless sales and business development team in growing our sales order book across both our existing and future customer base.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvision of technical support to VIAVI Wireless customer support contracts.Logging, Investigation and resolution of issues related to VIAVI Wireless test and emulation equipment (TM500/E500) across our customer base.Maintain an understanding of the operation of our product base, especially the TM500/E500.Act as a point of interface between the customer and the VIAVI Wireless Engineering group to deliver and implement new software releases across our customer base.Provide installation, upgrades, and commissioning of new or existing LTE TM500/E500 systems and software.Work closely with both our customer base and the product development team to qualify new features requested by our customers.Collection of technical requirements from the customer for future enhancement of the product.Undertake technical demonstrations and evaluations to both existing and new customers on VIAVI wireless's product and feature range.Provide product, technical and Inter-operability test (IOT) support to sales account managers.The role requires the person to be a self-starter, self-motivated and flexible, with a record of problem solving.Required Qualifications & Experience8+ years' proven work experiences in a Field Applications Engineer capacity.The successful candidate will be educated to Master's degree in Telecommunication, Electronic or Computer Science discipline.The role requires the person to be a self-starter, self-motivated and flexible, with a record of problem solving.To have an organised and methodical nature whilst also projecting a customer facing image at all times.Individuals must have excellent written and verbal communication skillsFluency in Swedish and advance English language skills are a must.The role may involve a significant amount of travel and staying away from home and as such the person must be very flexible to travel at short notice to meet business needs. Technical or sector experience required Experience with core network operations across all the 3GPP and non 3GPP technologies.Work experience on end to end LTE testing either for handset and/or Network.Rich experience on LTE L1/L2/L3.Working experience in 4G and ideally 5G.Knowledge and awareness of RF (Radio Frequency) techniques.Have experience with simulated data generators to support data profiles such as VoLTE, VoIP, RTSP, FTP etc.Scripting experience using Python or Linux.Working knowledge of Trouble Ticketing System.
