Veoneer camera systems are developed in Linköping with help from highly integrated satellite offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Zagreb and Timisoara. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you 'll do?
As algorithm developer, you will work to develop camera-based safety features in one of the areas of object detection, 3D detection, tracking and camera calibration. These features are included in systems for, for example, automatic emergency braking or wildlife warning in the dark.
You will work in teams responsible for the algorithms all the way from idea to implementation in mainly programming language C, and your work will include signal processing and / or image processing. At Veoneer, the software team works agile in project form and you will be part of a group of 8-15 colleagues.
What you 'll bring?
To succeed in the role you should:
• Be an engineer or have equivalent knowledge in relevant field
• Have experience with algorithm development in signal and image processing and / or its real-time hardware implementation
• Have a great interest in, and good knowledge in, programming in C
We also believe that you are a newly graduated or have worked for a few years in signal processing, imaging or automatic control. Experience of test-driven software development is a plus. It is also to your advantage if you have been working with embedded systems or otherwise familiarized yourself with this knowledge. For those who are newly graduated, good study results are meritorious.
We also believe that you have an analytical ability and high quality awareness. As a person, you are entrepreneurial and able to lead your work forward. Furthermore, you need to be responsive and have a good ability to cooperate with your colleagues, as the work is mostly carried out in projects.
