We are looking for a Senior External Producer to join the Thunderful Games External Production team! This role can be based in Sweden, UK or the rest of Europe (we work in the Sweden/UK time zone).
The External Senior Producer will play a critical role in ensuring Thunderful Games releases a portfolio of high-quality games by managing cross-functional projects on multiple platforms for a diverse global audience.
As the External Senior Producer, you will work closely with development studios and the Marketing and Sales teams to oversee assigned projects from inception to release and maintain them through the post-launch period. You will be the central point of contact for all production-related activities between a development studio and central shared Publishing functions.

About Thunderful:In ancient times, far up north, there were two small game developers. They went by Image & Form and Zoink! and were located in Gothenburg, Sweden. In 2017, the stars aligned, and they took off in a sweet embrace to form Thunderful Development. Later, through acquisitions, other studios across Sweden joined us in dance.
But we decided to not be alone in the great vast universe! Thunderful Games now has entities and studios in Sweden, the UK and Germany. Namely, Coatsink, Thunderful Games Ltd, To The Sky, Early Morning Studio, Jumpship, Studio Fizbin and Robot Teddy.
Responsibilities Include: Coordinate with development studios on assigned projects.
Work closely with development studios to understand scope, development plans, resource requirements, and delivery milestones.
Monitor project requirements to identify blockers, dependencies, and highlight risks.
Collaborate with development studios to problem-solve and establish best practices that facilitate smooth development.
Accountable for budget and schedule tracking, and reporting changes as they arise
Prepare and deliver presentations and reports, as needed or requested.
Work with platform holders and other third parties to fix Setup, QA, Localisation and Porting where appropriate.
Be the central point of contact for all production-related activities between a development studio and central shared functions.
Be the primary escalation point for assigned projects.
Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams on an assigned project to ensure a successful release.

With excellent data analytical skills, you have experience in making informed decisions, and you bring a creative, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented mindset to your work.
We also believe that you have the following experience:
Experience of working in game development on multiple games
Understanding of the full game development lifecycle
Highly proficient with game industry standard software tools, design documents, production processes, and best practices (budgets, project management, localization, bug reports, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English)
Formalities The role is a full-time position
The role is Hybrid or remote
The role includes travelling~ 2-3 days every couple of months
