InfiMotion Technology develops, manufactures, and sells high performance electric drive units for fully electric vehicles, addressing the whole value chain, including production software and single components.
InfiMotion was founded in 2021 in Wuxi, China, and lead investors are companies such as Geely Auto, Lotus and Ningbo Luma, with a professional board of directors with experienced powertrain and automotive executives from well-known Geely Holding companies.
By the end of 2022, InfiMotion aims to have 700 experienced employees across two R&D Centers in Gothenburg Sweden and in Wuxi China. The InfiMotion team has been responsible for over two million sold units to date, by which over 90 000 were delivered to the European market. The first batch of new high-performance products will go into production in late 2022.
The Role;
Now we want to welcome a new Functional Safety Engineer into our team!
In this role you will make sure that requirements on software safety for hybrid retransmissions are developed according to applicable standards and processes. You will work closely with the System Safety Manager and System Engineers, located both in Sweden and China.
Responsibilities/Tasks;
• Software safety planning as a supplement to Master Safety Plan
• Responsible to prepare safety case from software side
• Participate and do necessary steps for safety audits and assessments
• Analyse technical safety concepts and customers system design requirements
• Preparation of software safety requirements and specification
• Be a support to System Safety engineers
• Communicate with customers on how to meet functional safety requirements
• Supporting software architecture, architecture safety analysis and tool qualifications
• Be a support for safety test planning and development of test cases
• Also support development of unit design and methodologies
Requirements to succeed in this role;
• Minimum 5 years work experience as a Functional Safety Engineer
• Minimum M.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equal work experience
• Good understanding on FMEA/FTA/DFA and shall be able to perform safety analysis
• Ability to drive all functional safety processes related to software (Part 6)
• Good understanding on EGAS and other state of art safety concepts
• Solid understanding of electrified transmissions and electric drive units
• Experience in safety work methodology /Audits/ Assessments
• Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive standard
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures

• Functional Safety Certification from reputed organizations
• Safety Software development ( Model Based)
