Job Summary
In the Processing Solutions & Equipment organisation, we are a team responsible for driving Engineering Excellence, Platforms & Tools for our global engineering force. We provide 2500 engineers worldwide with platforms and tools to engineer world leading products and fully integrated plant solutions for the food & beverage industry.
In the Smart Plant Engineering program, we drive 5 major initiatives that are creating the foundation for digital continuity for all PS&E products, plant solutions and projects. To strengthen and accelerate these activities we are now reinforcing our team with proven expertise and experience in, PLM - Product Lifecycle Management.
We are looking for a Senior Expert - PLM who will provide PLM expertise and experience and be a driving force in the design of PLM related system solutions, securing the link between PLM, portfolio management, product strategy and business models, involving Business Sectors/Streams, Services, Production and other relevant parts of the organisation with a strong focus on engineering effectiveness and productivity in the full value chain.
The position is permanent and based in Lund and will include up to 20% travelling.
What you will do
You will secure that the project teams working with development and deployment of PLM related platforms and tools, such as the Smart Product Platform and Smart Solutions Platform, and all involved portfolio and product owners have access to proven expertise in the PLM capability.
You will drive change management through benefit identification and realization, ensuring that business requirements are shared and met effectively and efficiently in all PLM related solutions.
You will actively support relevant leadership and management teams in Processing Solutions & Equipment in relation to PLM and product strategies, visions and roadmaps.
Main responsibilities:
Provide the Smart Plant Engineering program with expertise in PLM and product modularisation strategy based on experience from relevant business domains.
Actively support the Smart Plant Engineering program in creation of business cases, risk assessments, time and resource plans.
Support the Business Transformation Project Smart Product Platform by taking the overall product owner role during the whole Business Transformation project duration
Drive alignment between engineering, sales, supply, production and service aspects in PLM
Drive cross company collaboration and involvement of organisations such as Business Sectors, One PLM team and Service organization in PLM
Drive alignment of PLM processes and business processes.
Participate in PLM/Enterprise Architecture design decisions for integration to ERP.
Drive and facilitate competence and capability development related to PLM
We believe you have
A proven track record of PLM expertise and experience in relevant industry domain
A minimum of 6 years of applied PLM experience in relevant industry domain
Highly proficient in converting business needs into PLM related requirements, describing values in presentations and presenting it to stakeholders
A proven understanding of change management cultural awareness
A University Degree in Science or Engineering or related fields; additional qualifications and competences related to Digital Transformation will be considered a strong plus
You are fluent both in written and spoken English, other languages are considered a plus
You are a person that gets energized by making things happen. You have excellent communications skills and building relationships is something that comes naturally to you. You are driven by customer-centricity and your strength is having a strong business acumen.
