hela Sverige We are taking the next step in becoming the leading Asset Manager in Europe by adding Global Mutual Fund products over the coming year. In this process we will strengthen our coverage of global tech and financial sectors and seek a Senior Analyst with a proven track record of 5-10 years within the tech and/or financial sectors.
The position we offer:
Fundamental Equities manages the Swedish and Nordic large and small cap funds, as well as global portfolios. We will set up new Global Fund Mandates over the coming year. Our ambition is to create an attractive 3 and 5 year rolling performance after fees. Our investment horizon is around 4 years and the research being conducted will help us understand the risk/reward in various scenarios.
We are fundamental stock pickers meaning we only look at the bottom up scenario and not at the macro top-down and it is the analyst job to help us understand the underlying value drivers and its likely impact on future earnings and cash flow capacity.
As a Senior Equity Analyst you will perform in-depth research of various companies both based in the Nordic region as well as in Europe, US and Asia. You will work in a team of five people and be very involved in the investment decisions being made. You will travel a lot throughout the world with an estimated 60 days of travel per year. Some trips will be 7-8 days long.
The qualifications you need:
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 5-10 years within research globally, preferably from the sell side or a hedge fund. You also have proven modelling skills and ability to build and maintain an advanced DCF model and other valuation techniques.
To be successful in this position, it is a prerequisite to have detailed and in-depth understanding about cash flow generation as well as a deep understanding of accounting and how management can use it to portray a cash flow pattern that is not in line with reality. In addition to this we expect you to have an in depth knowledge about the regulation surrounding the financial sector.
You have documented know-how of the financial sector (in-cluding the regulatory framework) and/or the tech sector.
As a person, you have integrity and it is important that you are able to interact with senior management teams of large companies. In this role it is also important to be socially very skilled since we focus on the team first and individual second driven by our belief that if the team succeeds the individual performance will be multiplied.
You have excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
