What's in it for you?
The Environmental Department is responsible for the global environmental protection issues within Volvo Car Group such as management of environmental legal requirements, permits, strategies, targets and Energy Management.
As Senior Environmental Specialist Energy Efficiency within E&FM, you will work as project leader and contribute to the overall task to reduce the energy consumption throughout the organization.
This means that you establish and develop relationships with representatives from many areas and will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within Volvo Car Group. As part of our team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a continuously improving field!
What you'll do
Your main responsibilities will include:
* managing energy efficiency projects;
* investigating the potential of proposed actions;
* managing local energy efficiency activities at appointed location (e.g. Olofström, Göteborg, Gent, Skövde/Floby, Chengdu, Daqing, Shanghai, Charleston).
What you need to succeed
We are looking for you who has a University degree with focus in Energy Efficiency or equivalent and you have documented experience from managing energy efficiency projects. You are fluent in both Swedish and English (speaking and writing) and you hold a driving licence (B).
In this role you need to have strong project management, engineering and administrative skills. You have to be self-motivated, performance-driven problem solver who loves finding new solutions. You are a team player with good communication skills who can build as well as maintain a great network around you. Business acumen, high integrity, professionalism, holistic view and conceptual thinking are some of other key qualities that we want to see in you.
