Southend is looking for an experienced environment artist to join our team in Malmö.
Responsibilities:
• Creating 3D environment assets for in game use including materials and textures.
• Create assets according to the art direction.
• Structure Maya scenes and associated files.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Excellent Autodesk Maya skills.
• Excellent 2D texturing (Adobe Photoshop) skills.
• Structured and organized.
• Keen to develop and learn within the field of expertise.
• A passion for games.
Pluses:
• Environment animation in Autodesk Maya.
• Zbrush sculpting skills.
• 2D freehand/concepting skills.
• Experience from working on XBLA and/or PSN titles.
• Experience from development for mobile platforms.
The position is full time at our offices in Malmö, Sweden.
