hela Sverige Avalanche Studios Stockholm is looking for a Senior contractor Environment Artist to join a top-tier, experienced team to help craft cutting edge AAA game environments.
The Position
As a Sr. contractor environment artist at Avalanche Studios you will collaborate with various small, interdisciplinary teams, to create art for our world and all of its components. The candidate should be self sufficient and comfortable taking on larger pieces of content and coordinate with both Lead and Producers throughout development. You should be able to take art assets all the way from conceptual mockups through modeling and texturing as well as support our source efforts. In addition the candidate should be comfortable working with level design and do final implementation and piolish of environments of the world world.
Required qualifications
• Shipped at least 1-2 AAA titles.
• Excellent modeling and texturing skills using Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter
• Experience with Allegorithmic Substance Designer.
• Experience with Photoshop
• Strong understanding with PBR compliant content
• A strong portfolio with clearly-documented artistic accomplishments
• A great sense of technical know-how and functional problem-solving
• Passion for making and playing games
Desired qualifications
• Experience with Zbrush
• Experience with photogrammetric asset creation workflows
• Experience with World/Level Art
