Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments for the on- and off-road space. The Digital and IT team is new and growing team at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. Our mission is to enable the digital side of V.A.S. to transform from an internal start-up to a scale up. We do not do this on our own, we continuously interact and collaborate with our colleagues in the Volvo Group, our customers and our partners. In Digital and IT we fluently mix working with ambitious business strategies as well as with hands on implementations.

These are key skills to successfully navigate in our internal and external ecosystem. You have a relevant university degree, equivalent professional experience. You understand the complete digital value chain and IT stack from top to bottom, and possess the ability to translate it into business benefits and a competitive advantage. You communicate clear direction when needed, to secure that we take full advantage from the greenfield approach that we can apply for parts of our business, while leveraging Group investments in digital technology.
What will you do?
You will develop an architectural strategy and roadmap to enable as to scale as an autonomous Transport-as-a-Service provider. Additionally, you will create and establish V.A.S. Architecture inline with Groups' Target Architecture. Initially the focus will be to support maturity and scaling of our Autonomous Transport Solutions, over time more focus will be put on enabling integration and digital services in our ecosystem.
Additional responsibilities are:
Responsible for Enterprise Architecture (complete TOGAF pyramid)
Member of Volvo Group Enterprise Architecture board.
Establish the Enterprise Architecture community (internal and external) that supports the business.
Ensure interfacing to other product owners and business partners (e.g. Group Truck Technology, Connected Solutions, Group Digital&IT)
The location for this position is Gothenburg - Sweden.
