hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos SenseAir AB i Hudiksvall SenseAir is looking for a Senior Engineering Manger to run our engineering department, which includes many disciplines of engineering, such as optical, mechanical, test, electrical, software, firmware, and CAD. The foundation of the organization is built upon two primary groups of Design and Analysis & Test with support from two external off-shore teams. Our focus is to continue to build structure in our engineering practices, as well as prepare for expansion of the company. This requires experience in interfacing with multiple-functional groups, prioritizing engineering's workload and building for the future. The candidate must have a history of strong leadership, deep practical engineering knowledge and a proven track record for timely project delivery.
Resource Management
• Effectively manage engineering managers; give guidance on development decisions and prioritization, and provide a forum to discuss challenges and scenarios that surface in their daily work
• Assist with resource management on SenseAir projects as he/she interfaces with the managers and project leaders
• Work with external contractors and consultants in addition to internal resources to achieve aggressive milestones. Ensure expectations and deliverables are clearly defined and met
• Conduct effective performance reviews of teams and develop measurable goals and objectives for the managers and the engineering organization
• Build team work and spirit in the organization
Organization
• Demonstrated leadership with complex projects and multi-discipline engieering organizations
• Assist with building engineering operations to ensure high quality documentation, file revisions, and complete readiness to pass over to production to ensure a smooth product transition. Must be familiar with electronic BOM management systems and processes surrounding the use and support of these tools
• Must have a deep understanding of the needs of all functional groups within a company; Marketing, Sales, Productions, Finance, HR, Customer Support, Quality and the CTO office
• Experienced with leading on-time delivery of products. Ensure product release priority is maintained and create alert systems if there is urgency in the projects which affect release priority
• Must be organized and be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment
Technical Background
• Must have deep development experience in HW and SW development and clearly understand the interconnectivity of all functional areas of our system
• Lead decisions on architecture strategies to create effective and expedient product development
• Work with the CTO to lead the development and execution of Senseair's technical roadmap
Communication
• Strong communicate skills are highly desirable. This manager must communicate the roadmap, strategy, achievements, changes and clear expectations between organizations
• Communicate progress, challenges and status with the CEO, CFO, CTO and possibly the board
Requirements for Applicant:
• A university engineering degree
• Fifteen years of experience in a senior leadership position
• Experienced in large engineering organizations preferred
• Experience with all industry standards, qualifications and tests
• A plus if experienced in APQP and automotive quality systems
• Good interpersonal, communication, leadership and presentation skills
• Positive person who enjoys challenges and achieving complex goals
