The Mobile Apps and Online Banking teams are responsible for driving the innovation, vision and delivery of the mobile and web applications. The teams work very closely with a number of internal stakeholders (Platform Infrastructure, Marketing, Customer Service and more) and together, we aim at delivering innovative solutions to our users. Now we are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join the team.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will be working tightly with the Product Owners, Product Designers and members of the development team to drive the delivery of the digital channels. As Senior Engineering Manager you will:
Facilitate collaboration with other engineers, product owners, and product designers to solve interesting and challenging problems across digital channels
Develop team members through coaching and mentoring
Ensure that technical decisions and information is communicated through the entire team
Analyze / optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance
Guide us in our choices of technology and system architecture
Advocate for and support better development practices (CI/CD, testing, operational efficiency, etc.)
Guide and facilitate engineering technology architecture decisions for product development
To succeed in this role, you need to:
You have 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams across technologies and platforms and are knowledgeable and passionate about software development. You have proven ability to recruit, mentor and retain high performing team members. You take pride in delivering high quality code and great products to end-users.
