We are now looking for an experienced Engineer, Thermal and HVAC HIL!
Description
The role is within Powertrain & Chassis department. In this department 5 groups exist, which the Thermal Management and HVAC Systems Team is one. The group is constructed of 5 different areas, these are CFD/Thermal CAE, Thermal Systems, Interior HVAC, Electrical Hardware and Logic.
This position would be within the logic domain supporting the Lead Engineer for the Thermal & HVAC Logic. The person in this role will be an integrated part of the test activities. This includes planning and execution in all phases of a project ensuring that verification is possible, timewise and technically. These tasks will include evaluation of compartment climate, battery and power electronic thermal management control and software logic.
The role as Engineer, Thermal and HVAC HIL involves;
• Develop Verification plans for HIL,
• Execution of HIL Testing,
• Lead the development and maintenance of the applicable HIL verification and validation strategies, environment, methodologies and procedures,
• Participating in analysis of designs such as FMEA, FTA etc,
• Support software and control logic development through the complete product lifecycle, including advanced development, industrialization development, production, and service stages,
• Line-role with direct support to assigned projects,
• Perform and/or support all applicable product development activities,
• Support applicable technical communication with suppliers and customers,
• Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost,
• Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products,
• Support future product planning activities,
• Establish and maintains internal and external networks,
• Support mentoring and training activities.
We are looking for someone who has;
• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent,
• Working software application knowledge of Vector CANoe including CAPL programing is required,
• Domain knowledge automotive electronics,
• Domain knowledge Diagnostics, including working history with ISO 14229,
• Experience form software intense systems in the automotive industry,
• Experience from development of embedded systems with high real time requirements,
• Ability to communicate clearly in English and Swedish, both spoken and written,
• Driver license B.

• Have a knowledge and understanding of product development and production,
• Be creative, action-oriented and open minded,
• Have good communication skills,
• Be able to plan and prioritize,
• Have and â'hands-on" approach in combination with great technical skills.
