Flash Core Security section at Sony Mobile, Lund, is looking for senior software engineers who are passionate for low level embedded development. The team has an overall responsibility for flash loaders, boot loaders, and security functionality related to those areas. The team works with Sony Mobile products in all business segments and on several different hardware platforms.

You will be part of a highly experienced and driven team, working with designing and implementing components that will be used on future Sony Mobile devices.

The work will include, but will not be not limited to, c and assembler programming, trouble shooting software and hardware systems, technical analysis, technical decisions, participating in/leading technical discussions, proposing and approving technical solutions, version handling and configuration management, Lauterbach/trace debugging, reading/understanding technical specification, integration of vendor software, writing technical documentation, supporting project and line managers, supporting and leading other software engineers, proposing optimizations and improvements of current implementations and solutions, and more.

Qualifications:

M.Sc./B.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, electronic engineering or equivalentSeveral years professional experience of embedded low level software developmentGood skills in platform development/debugging working closely with the hardwareGood communication skills and a team playerSelf-driven problem solver and eager to learnProfessional spoken and written English

Work experience with the following tools/areas is meritorious:

Git/GerritLauterbachLow-level/driversARMeMMCUSBLinuxSSL or similar
