Job description
In this position, you will have a global key-role supporting both our technology manager and areas with; evaporation technology and concepts which means that you will be working with technical performance, guarantees, dimensioning and reference management.
You will also support sales and projects in concerning technology.
In your daily work you will participate R&D projects and ensure competitiveness in the evaporation processes.
In Gothenburg we have the global product responsibility for evaporator technology within Valmet. We work closely together with our market areas, hence international contacts and travelling can be frequent, e.g., during start-ups, troubleshooting, audits etc. (approx. 50 days a year).
You will get the chance to have a good view and understanding of the whole Pulp industry!
Requirements
To be successful in this position you are a graduated Engineer with a major in Chemical or in another relevant field. In addition to this you will need 8-10 years of experience from working with process technology, based on your working experience you already have a good understanding of paper industry and processes. Excellent skills in English and Swedish, verbally and in writing is essential, other languages could be a merit.
We expect you to have excellent motivation and attitude, and ability to achieve results also under pressure. To succeed in this role, you will also need effective written and oral communication skills along with excellent presentation, negotiation and analytical skills. You have an ability to quickly build relationships and achieve results both individually and as part of a team.
