What you will do!
The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group's different products around the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation.

To our Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a Mechanical engineer to the AdBlue injection team. As a Mechanical engineer you will work with the component development, integration, and product documentation of the main components such as pumps, injectors, valves, and sensors. The Adblue injection system is a complex mechatronic system, and you will have the possibility to learn and work within other related areas, for example testing, software control functionality and data analytics. The daily work will be performed in a small team in close collaboration with other functions internally and with external suppliers. You will be involved in all different development stages from early concept development to industrialization and product maintenance.

You will be part of a dedicated team where we support each other and solve things together. Today the team consists of 5 engineers from 3 different countries. We are looking for a colleague that is in the beginning of the engineer career path or newly graduated and has the ambition to grow over time and take on more responsibilities as they come.

Who are you?
We are looking for a person that has a genuine interest in the technology area. You like to resolve issues as they arise and acts a clear sense of ownership. In addition, we believe that you could interact, network and collaborate efficiently with peers.

Required qualifications:
MSc. or BSc. or similar in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering
Experience from powertrain or vehicle development
Good collaboration skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
