Description of the role
As an Engineer in battery installations, you have a broad role where your specialist expertise will play an important role in many different stages of the projects. Your duties will include:
• Perform dimensioning and analysis of energy systems
• Support the sales team in collecting and understanding the customer's conditions as well as providing input to tenders and technical quotation requests.
• Create working drawings, wiring diagrams and instructions for installation
• Prepare and interpret specifications and technical calculations
• Explain drawings to project and installation teams and provide adjustments if necessary
• Identify gaps in the product portfolio and scout new technical solutions in both battery and inverter technologies
• Manage technical documentation, drawings, specifications, submissions and handovers in accordance with established processes
As an Engineer, you have an ongoing dialogue with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders as technical experts. You also have a central and important role internally and work closely with the project manager throughout the execution phase. As part of a rapidly growing company, you are also expected to provide input in the development of the business as well as continuous improvement of internal processes and working methods.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge of electrical and battery installations and a good understanding of the industry we operate in. You have relevant education as an electrical engineer, in electrical engineering or energy technology with a focus on electricity/power systems, and have previously worked in a similar role. You have a deep technical understanding and a great interest in energy issues and modelling of energy systems. If you have also worked as an electrician, it is a great advantage, alternatively you have participated in installations on site and, in addition to great theoretical knowledge, have experience of practical work. You have relevant system experience and use accustomed AutoCAD or similar work tools. Experience with other simulation tools such as HOMER is a merit.
To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and have the capacity to manage several projects in parallel. The projects vary in size and complexity, which is why a large portion of patience combined with your own drive will help you in the role. We also believe that you are meticulous and quality conscious. Since the role involves many interfaces, both internally and externally, we assume that you like to interact and collaborate with others and that you communicate freely in both Swedish and English. You are unpretentious and generous when it comes to sharing your knowledge and actively contributing to developing both the role and the company as a whole. Travel occurs and a B driving license is necessary in the service.
