We are now expanding our antenna team in Lund with a Senior Engineer, Antenna, in order to develop new innovative smartphones for Sony. Antenna development work means being part of a phone project, delivering everything from technical idea to final solutions. Developing new antenna technologies is also an important part of the work. This is done by executing technology projects, creating antenna prototypes for measurements and running simulations.
The main areas of responsibility for this position will be antenna design, simulation, integration, measurements and documentation. You will work in close collaboration with other RF and antenna design engineers, mechanical and industrial designers, and EMC engineers to integrate antenna design in products. Sometimes it will be necessary to travel globally to other development sites, customers and suppliers.
The required education is Master of Science in electrical engineering or physics or equivalent competence. Hands-on experience with RF components, material and manufacturing technologies for antennas, as well as passive and active antenna measurements are required. Communication, collaboration and an open mindset are prerequisites. An interest to work with others globally are equally important qualities hence it?s necessary to speak and write fluent English.
