ANSYS has approx. 1400 employees worldwide. This position is based in the Gothenburg office, which currently has 18 employees.
Purpose of the role:
In this role, you will make a contribution to the business through the provision of technical support and training to the software customer, pre-sales support to the sales team, and the delivery of related technical services to the client. You will provide advice and guidance to others and exercise initiative in the effective application and deployment of CFD software, based on predetermined strategic, client, project or other plans. You will have responsibility for a designated technical initiative working within a quarterly or annual timeframe. You should be capable of achieving results largely independently within the areas of key accountability, but drawing on the expertise of team colleagues where appropriate. At the Senior level, you would also contribute to project management, training and supervision of junior staff, and client service development in support of the overall software and service business model.
Specialized knowledge and skills:
• Technically/professionally qualified to higher degree level, or possessing the equivalent level of knowledge and skill through on the job experience and training.
• Knowledge and practical experience of computer simulation of fluid flow (CFD), in industrial applications.
• Record of strong customer interaction, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills and an aptitude for project management.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Record of strong technical knowledge in a relevant research area or discipline, such as aerodynamics, turbulence, multi-phase flows or combustion.
• Strong technical knowledge related to the ANSYS product range.
• Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities through Support & Service activities.
• Record of excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Demonstrated personal initiative.
• Local and English languages.
