Let's put a team of skilled EMC Verification Engineers to develop the EMC performance of our trucks at the Volvo Group.
So who are we?
We are the Group for EMC, Hardware & Framework Verification at Electrical and Software Architecture at Volvo Group Trucks Technology in Gothenburg! In essence we are a group of highly motivated engineers that love our work and use our creativity and current tools to secure product quality. We trust the individual and act as a team, are close to the product and provide an opportunity for professional and personal growth.
And what do we do?
We conduct formal verification of the electrical system with focus on EMC. Within our scope of responsibility lies the work with development of new test methods, simulations, processes, tools and the need for test equipment.
Why do we do that?
As of the increased complexity of our new products and the electrical architecture, there is an increased need of faster feedback and quality assurance in development. What we do is for the complete product development and for this we have a skilled EMC team working with a lot of stakeholders to secure the requirements at system levels. As a part of this group you will get a very good overview of the trucks complete electrical system and the trucks functionality

Who are you?
We are looking for a problem solving person that enjoys finding early design faults so that the EMC issues can be avoided early in our projects and to support the component owners & projects with EMC expertise. You are a person that understands the EMC verification challenges of today and want to improve the verification of tomorrow. We believe that you are genuinely interested in electronics engineering and have high quality awareness. On top of that you have customer focus, delivery precision and good communication skills! On par with the rest of our team you are curious, positive, pro-active and want to work in the automotive business!

Qualifications
M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or recognised equivalent
Knowledge and experience of product development and/or verification
Knowledge of Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Experience from the EMC field is a merit
