As a Test developer in integrated Linux systems, you will work with a team of the most competent programmers in the country, in their respective fields. The technology is what is important, but the passion for integrated systems is what takes the field forward.

About the work
Along with experienced programmers, you will develop the client's platforms. Mainly you will focus on developing new products, but the job also requires maintenance to some extent. The focus will be on test and QA.

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer you will (but not be limited to):

Perform tests on system level including network management systems
Define test cases
Write scripts for automated testing (e.g. in TCL, Python)
Further develop our automated test environment
Debug along with hardware and software engineers
Review requirements, industry standards and manuals
Verify compliance to telecom standards (ITU, MEF, IETF, IEEE, TNF)
Verify the graphical user interface
Work with protocols such as Ethernet, OTN
Contribute to Test strategies
Based on background, interest and needs other work tasks can come into consideration as develop new software

Education & Experience Necessary For Success

Master's degree or equivalent education
Experience (5-10 years) within testing and/or SW Design
Experience in automated testing
Experience in working according to Agile Principles
Experience of networking protocols preferably L0/L1 and/or L2 protocols, and networking knowledge in general
Experience from working with network operations and/or installation is an advantage
Good knowledge in English, written and spoken
Interest in test methods and tool trends in the market
