The Position:
The Electrification Management System is the glue that keeps all of the new cutting edge EV systems and component together. This system handles thermal management, auxiliary VCB components, and charging control.

Here at Charging Controls, we are working with the vehicle-side charging functions in the application software. A high-performance, adaptable and reliable charging experience is important to our customers. It is strategically important for Scania to be able to meet and exceed our customer's expectations in this field. We're now looking for an Embedded Systems developer to help bolster our efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the application layer of our charging control system for electric trucks
• Design, implement, and test new features and functionalities for the system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, to ensure the development of high-quality and reliable systems
• Debug and resolve issues in real-time systems
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high quality and maintainable code

What we are looking for:

We are looking for somebody who is yearning to be part of the leading edge of innovation, with the experience and confidence to make intuitive decisions in software development.

In order to excel at this role, you should have some combination of the following skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in developing real-time embedded systems
• Experience in C++ or another low-level programming language
• Experience with real-time operating systems and real-time communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for developing innovative solutions for real-world challenges
