Description
Communication Research Labs Sweden, part of the Exensor Technology Group is searching for a new Senior Software Developer to join our software development team located in Kalmar, Sweden.
Job description / Areas of responsibility
• Participate in software development
• Architect analysis of requirements to, and designs for development of new system features
• Participate in testing activities for the entire Exensor Group, including test of subsystems such as unattended ground sensors, wireless networks and other relevant equipment.
• Participate in demonstration of equipment and systems from the Exensor Group for customers (Both in Sweden and abroad)
• Contact to suppliers and customers in relation to development, testing, delivering of systems and offers
Qualifications
• An academic degree within Engineering, Computer Science with focus on software development or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience with software development and software system design for primarily embedded platforms
• Structured working and with focus on deadlines and projects goals
• Passion for understanding and addressing the customer?s needs and flair for focusing on those aspects that make a difference
• Passionately driven for success, experienced in working in a team environment and capable of working independently
A profound background within:
• Strong experience with software system design, development and strategy
• Strong experience with resource constraint embedded systems (with focus on interaction between software and hardware)
• Very good working knowledge with C, Java or .Net (C#) programming
• Strong commitments to meet deadlines in a dynamic development environment
• Good knowledge of operating systems such as Windows (XP) and (embedded) Linux. Including, but not limited to, system configuration, basic Unix scripting languages such as bash
• Experience from modern software development methods and tools
Primary Location: Kalmar, Sweden
