About the job
The electronics play a central part in our x-ray technology, as it interacts with all different parts in our sources. As our Electronics Team Lead, you will therefore play a significant role in communicating and interacting with co-workers from different departments. Making the position essential for the future development of our state-of-the-art technology. Moreover, you will be a part of our proficient development team of 12 engineers, and work in an environment where your day-to-day contributions will be noticed.
Your prime challenge will lie within troubleshooting and problem solving in existing analogue circuits and designs, but the position also comes with a possibility to create new designs for our future x-ray sources.
Main tasks
The electronics department works with a wide range of assignments, and therefore the main tasks varies from hands on work like root cause finding and debugging of hardware, too electronics construction, layouts and documentation.
Other significant tasks will be to
• Lead our electronics team consisting of two highly skilled engineers.
• Coordinate technical activities and improve internal processes.
• Interface between departments and provide electronics input into development schedule and milestones.
To be successful in this position we believe that you have
• At least a M.Sc. within the field of electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• A minimum of five years working experience in analogue electronics.
• Knowledge in circuit board design and CAD. Preferable Altium and/or CADint.
• An understanding of electrical safety legislation. Especially IEC 61010-1 and EMC directive.
• Some previous exposure to project management/leadership responsibilities, and a solid experience of working in multidisciplinary teams.
It is also significant that you possess extensive oral and written communication skills (in English) and an ability to translate complex ideas into clear concepts. Additionally, proficiency in ARM microcontrollers and/or Git is meritorious but not required.
