hela Sverige We are seeking to recruit a senior electronics design engineer. In line with current exiting development of new and modern electronic products for building automation, we need to strengthen our hardware development team. The position is based in Malmö and, besides from colleagues in the local hardware team, you will work closely with the production unit in Stockholm and hardware development groups in Boston and London.
As a member of the hardware development group you will participate in the entire design chain from specification through execution to product launch. You will work both within projects and independently with development and maintenance of products.
Your main duties will include analog and digital design (e.g switched power supplies, I/O-circuits, MCU-design and programmable logic circuits), simulations, prototypes, functionality- and EMC testing and interfacing with our production units. You will also write specifications, test plans and reports for new products and for revisions of current products.
Our products include peripheral devices, application specific and programmable controllers up to our latest generation of advanced IT based solutions. We use different communication solutions such as Ethernet, LonWorks, RS-485 and USB. Examples of technologies and tools typically used are ARM 7/9, Cortex Mx, MSP-430, BGA, ASIC, Cadence ECAD, Lauterbach emulators, P-Spice and Mathcad.
Requirements
You need a relevant university degree of at least 3 years and couple years of qualified work experience. As English is our corporate language we require the ability to clearly, concisely and effectively express oneself in English verbally and in writing.
In order to be successful, you need to like having responsibility and be able to work focused on your assigned tasks. It is also important that you have the ability to cooperate and contribute to our positive team spirit.
