We now have an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will conduct the conceptual design, development, cost estimation and optimization of industrial electrical installations and systems.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary project team. Within the projects, you will be responsible for taking the lead in your own discipline from design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up of industrial electrical installations and systems. The day to day activities have a wide degree of variety involving multiple projects simultaneously. Daily activities might also include mono-disciplinary studies for the optimization of electrical installations, coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues and support in updating internal engineering guidelines within your discipline. Qualifications
• Master of Science Electrical Power Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with relevant design engineering and projects, start up and commissioning of plants.
• At least 3 years? experience as a senior electrical engineer with a leading role in a team.
• Experience from chemical plant projects, R&D or manufacturing.
• Practical engineering knowledge and skills and familiarity with techniques, tools, materials, devices and systems in electrical engineering.
• Thorough knowledge in design of electrical industrial installations with experience in designing high voltage electrical infrastructures.
• Knowledge and experiences in designing and installing Transformer - Rectifier Installations is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Skills in risk assessment.
• Able to provide expert advice in electrical engineering, acting as the interface in between Projects & Engineering, customers and stakeholders.
• Results oriented and very adaptable.
• Ability to define and analyse problems, interpret information, transfer concepts, integrate disciplines, think conceptually and evaluate alternatives.
• Strong ability to cooperate and coach others and an ability to coordinate the work of others.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Good knowledge in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness and ability to travel.
