hela Sverige You will be part of Substation Automation Systems in Västerås. Our unit offers system solutions to protect and control power grids. Our customers are power companies, grid owners, process industries and contractors. Our system solutions are based on ABB?s products in the relay and control series Relion as well as on station and remote control with MicroSCADA and RTUs.
Challenge
The Electrical Design department at SA Systems is growing. Today, we have ten designers working with cabinet and plant design. As Senior Designer, you will lead and allocate the group?s work in large delivery projects. It will be your responsibility to ensure that we deliver complete world-class solutions to the customer on time and within set time frames. As you will have responsibility for specification, design, purchasing, testing and commissioning you will participate in the entire process. Among other things, you will specify equipment, manage our plant circuit diagram and develop functionality diagrams as well as type circuits. Further, you will participate in discussions with customers and subcontractors, which provides you with the benefit of making occasional business trips in both Sweden and abroad.
Requirements
You have B.Sc. or an M.Sc. in Electrical Power Engineering combined with at least ten years? experience from working as plant designer in distribution and transmission projects. This background has equipped you with solid knowledge in electrical power systems and plant design. You are a committed and goal-oriented leader with a deep interest in technical solutions and automation technology. Finally, you are used to working independently and have strong communication skills.
