We internally have a project organization where each customer order becomes a project with resources from project management, lead system design, detailed design, manufacturing transfer, sourcing and verification. Our global customers have high expectations on quality and lead-time which creates a very positive and dynamic project delivery focus and team working environment.Essential Responsibilities:As electrical designer you will be responsible for electricl design of our products, including activities to make the design available for production in PDM and other computerized systems. It includes identification and development of solutions, 2D/ 3D design layouts, component specification, contacts with components suppliers to verify technical data, administration of articles, documents and product structures. Troubleshooting partly inhouse and partly with custom, travel occurs.Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to: * Designing electrical automation systems from customer requirements (industrial automation and control) * Creating electrical documentation in ECAD (EPLAN, Zuken E3, AutoCAD or similar) * Regulatory knowledge about safety of machinery * Knowledge in UL and EU-standards related to electrical design (UL508A and EN 60204-1) * Experience of industrial field bus technologies * Experience of ATEX/Exi * Responsible for electrical design documents * Structured/Analytical * Experience from testing/verification * Team working skills * Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task * Demonstrated problem solving ability * Knowledge from GEHC Bioprocess products or similar productsIf you have questions regarding the position, please contact recruiting manager Björn Haglund at

Qualifications/Requirements:* BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience (defined as a High School Diploma/GED and significant work experience)* Experience and knowledge in electrical engineering, establishing requirements specifications, power calculations, selection of components and drawing of circuit diagrams and layouts* Excellent ECAD (EPLAN, Zuken E3, AutoCAD or similar) skills* Good regulatory knowledge about safety of machinery* Knowledge in UL and EU-standards related to electrical design (UL508A and EN 60204-1) * Experience of industrial field bus technologies* Experience of ATEX/Exi * Understanding of the EMC Directive * Good English skills (writing and speaking)* Documented project leader experience is an advantage* Experience in writhing technical reports* Excellent computer skills and ability to work in both general and internal systems* Understanding and wide application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in structural and/or dynamics analysis resulting in contributions to the development of new theories and/or methods* Complete knowledge of industry and/or academic practices and standards related to structural analysis, finite element analysis, and structural verification testing* GMP knowledgeDesired Characteristics:* Quality focus - design products that meet the customer requirements* Collaboration - easy to cooperate with other roles and persons within CBS and GE Uppsala * System view - make sure that a complete system is designed where all parts contribute to meeting customer expectations* Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task* Demonstrated problem solving ability* Order - have documentation, planning and issues in good order * Technical view - be able to identify and solve technical problems
