hela Sverige In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the latest state of the art transistor based technology for reactive power compensation. We see you being a strong strategical technician with our global market in focus, supporting FACTS with input and requirements to develop our sub-systems, control, relay protection configuration & testing, auxiliary power calculations and commissioning in a modularized and digital direction.
You take on quality assurance assignments and delivery projects with diligence and enjoy coaching junior engineers within your expertise. In addition to technical coordination internally and with customers, you take responsibility for organizational and operational development. Because you will act as a technical specialist in large international projects working together with design engineers in Sweden, India and North America, international business trips are a normal part of your work.
To successfully take on this senior position, you need to be a driven team player with focus on quality, collaboration and innovation. You contribute with your analytical thinking and information seeking skills. As a foundation, you hold a technical high school diploma or a university degree in electrical engineering along with at least 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer within Power Systems. Qualifying will be your knowledge of E3 CAD, Auto Cad, Febdoc, Excel and related programs. Previously you have worked with similar tasks that include electrical design, relay protection configuration & testing, auxiliary power calculations and commissioning. Fluency in English is a must, whereas knowledge in Swedish, German, Arabic, Spanish and Hindi will be to your advantage.

As Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be a part of the Functional Integration group delivering solutions for control, protection and auxiliary systems in the FACTS environment including it's functional interface to the power grid. The group consists of software and electrical design engineers with the main office in Västerås and a secondary design office in India. The role provides for project assignments in a global environment where high technical skills are equally important as the ability to handle physical and cultural distances in your daily work.
